There aren’t any stores here in the Toronto area that sell speed skates. However, a local skater who competed internationally has launched a premium custom skate business, One Carbon Design. His boots look gorgeous!
ZT Sports in Ottawa sells Bont, Louis Garneau and Maple.
Several members have bought Zandstra speed skates from Figure 8, a store in Ottawa. Zandstra skates are aimed at beginner to intermediate recreational skaters.
It may be worthwhile looking at other clubs' web sites on the Ontario Speed Skating Association; they often have used equipment posted too.
