There is NO SKATING tonight -
Thursday, Feb 2. Our permit was given to a large school group. I was assured
that this will not happen again.
We will resume our usual Tuesday and
Thursday schedule at Martingrove rink next week, assuming there aren’t any
labour disruptions.
If you want to get some extra
skating in, keep in mind that there is pleasure speed skating available on
Sunday mornings and Monday evenings:
- On Sunday from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, we can skate at the hockey pad at Giovanni Caboto. It's located at 1369 St Clair Avenue West near Lansdowne.
- On Monday, speed skating is offered at the Prince of Wales rink from 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm. This rink is located at 1 Third Street between Islington and Royal York, south of Lakeshore Blvd. It offers a beautiful view of the downtown skyline. We even had fireworks this past Monday!
